Next generation telecommunication forum to be staged

The forum organizer dubbed the occasion as a good opportunity for participants to exchange views on country’s NGN issues.
“If we accept that the world is moving towards better technologies then we should identify new potentials and the equipments to utilize such potentials as soon as possible,” Daryoush Shoghi told Mobna news agency.
He pointed out that ICTs main challenge in Iran is appreciation of potentials that will result from the application of new technologies.
He believed new such technologies should be adapted into country’s way of life and added: “NGN technology, for its unique ability to integrate different telecom services, will speed up spread of NGN technologies in the country.”
Next Generation Networking (NGN) is a combination of mobile and landline phones which has potential far greater than current networks.
