Only 12 companies so far purchased third mobile phone operator tender documents

It had been expected that there would be more companies since more than 15 operators from countries such as Russia, Britain, China, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Qatar had unofficially announced their readiness for the tender.
However, telecommunication deputy minister deputy Kamal Mohamed-Pour told Mobna news agency that there is still one week left before the deadline, and he said the response so far has been good.
Applicants have until October 26 to submit their completed documents to Radio Communication & Regulations Organization for preliminary review.
