Mobile phone mms regulation revised: regulatory body

“There was only a limited amendment to the mms service regulation,” Radio Communication & Regulations Organization’s license issuance deputy Lotfollah Sabouhi told Mobna news agency.
“The mms regulation was conveyed to all mobile phone operators and the new amendments will shortly follow suit,” he added.
RCRO is telecommunication ministrys regulatory body which sets service regulation and standard for the operators.
It is nearly a year since mms service was halted for absence of mms regulation by Cultural Revolution High Council on the advice of telecommunication ministry, and the Regulatory Council was given three months to produce an mms regulation.
The regulation, which was devised to prevent transmission of immoral texts and pictures, stipulates that subscribers should keep within their own network
