Alterations to third countrywide mobile phone operator tender invitation

Radio Communication & Regulations Organization public relations announced that the announcement printed in September 10 issue of Iran Daily and September 20 and 21 issues of Resalat need alteration as follows:
“Applicants may obtain tender documents from RCRO from Saturday Sep 13, 2008.”
Earlier, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology had announced that tender documents would be available for a month starting Sep 6, 2008.
The license for third countrywide mobile phone operator is valid for 15 years extendable to two further five-year terms.
The operator may have up to 17 million subscribers, consisting of 6 million calls and 11 million data subscribers.
The country’s mobile phone users are over 38 million with 60 per cent penetration rate.
