Sale of third countrywide mobile operator tender documents to continue until Oct 8

“Third operator may start selling its sim cards from late March 2009,” A spokesman for Radio Communication & Regulations Organization said.
He hoped that tender procedure will be complete in a couple of months and the winner announced.
Third countrywide mobile phone operator is due to provide services based on 3G technology to some 17 million subscribers over the next 15 years.
۱۵ operators from around the world have informally announced their inclination to take part in the tender.
The country’s mobile phone usage rate currently stands at nearly 60 per cent.
