Mobile Company of Iran catchy mobile phone numbers auction

“About 2,000 catchy mobile phone numbers will be put up for this auction around 21 September,” MCI auction commission head Abolfazl Alishahi told Mobna news agency.
“Every catchy numbers basic price is different in auction. Catchy numbers auction documents have not been sold yet,” he said.
“Most of those who want to buy catchy numbers are individuals and not legal entities,” Alishahi added.
On average, in every auction almost 30 percent of numbers were sought after and the rest had no one seeking them and therefore sold cheaper than the basic price.
So far 09127777777 was the most expensive MCI catchy number which was sold 577.77 million rials (61,000 dollars) at the auction.
