Five percent of telecommunications shares will be sold off next week: compay

“Telecommunications per share price started at first at 800 rials (8 cent),” TCI managing director Saber Feizi said.
“But after a telephone conversation with finance and economy minister (Shamsedin Hosseini) and the president (Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) its share was priced 1500 rials (15 cent),” he told in a telecommunications symposium.
“The first block was sold 15 seconds after quoting in bourse, second block two minutes later and third block another three minutes to be sold,” he said.
“In general five percent of telecommunications shares were sold in eight minutes,” he added.
The first five percent of the State owned Telecommunication Company of Iran was sold off in Tehran bourse on 9 August.
