Mobile set buyers not familiar with warranties

“As the result, some individuals have taken advantage of the present situation by forming companies with names similar to those of well-known companies and are issuing (false) warranty papers which lack expiration date, address and phone number,” Shahram Morad-beighi told Mobna news agency.
“The practice not only undermines the integrity of authorized agents but it helps to promote smuggling,” he added.
He said that there are now less than 15 authorized mobile set importers who provide valid guarantees, but are unknown to public.
He suggested that advertising could help boost the activities of such companies.
