Multi media messaging service requires special equipments: telecommunication ministry

“Mobile phone operators will need to perform a set of special technical tasks as well as special equipments if they intend to offer mms service to their subscribers,” Radio Communication & Regulations Organization’s license issuance director Lotfollah Sabouhi told Mobna news agency.
“The mms service is not confined to special operators but any operator, depending on its license, could offer the service to its subscribers,” he added.
He said that mms regulation has been submitted to the second nation wide mobile phone operator and they are also in the process of submitting it to first nation wide mobile phone operator.
It is nearly a year since the mms service was suspended with the aim to compile mms regulation for subscribers, the output RCRO was supposed to deliver in 3 months.
