Telecommunication privatization should not be carried out hastily: economic expert

 “In recent months we saw large governmental companies privatization including Telecommunication Company, and the governments rush for privatization seems unfounded,” a university professor Bijan Safavi told Mobna news agency.
“Other nations experiments show that big governmental companies privatization were first analyzed thoroughly for several years and that the privatization was not done in several months,” he said.
“Quoting telecommunication in Tehran Bourse was a an important step in privatization that can reduce inflation and balance need and supply,”  Safavi added.
According to telecommunication statement, its per share price is 171 rials (less than 1 cent).
