“Of all the sms transmitted, around 60 million reached their destinations,” Mohammad-Hussein Fallah Asghari told Mobna news agency.
He said the figure shows that despite the heavy load exerted on the network, 90 per cent have been successful.
“Of the 10 percent unsuccessful sms, seven percent has been due to faulty mobile set and the rest due to the network failure,” he added.
He added that MCI subscribers transmit on average around 47-50 million sms daily.
