Sms operators tender documents not ready yet: a telecom official

“Mobile Company of Iran is deliberating sms the increase of service providers, but the tender invitation date is not determined,” MCI auction commission head Abolfazl Alishahi told Mobna news agency.
“There are more than 15 local companies that provide sms value added services. Mobile Company of Iran by holding a tender for these companies aims to create a market for sms operator,” he said.  
Mohammad Hosein Fallah Asghari previously had said that this tender aimed at telecommunication privatization.
“Since the mobile phone subscribers have increased, more content providers (sms operators) are needed,” Fallah Asghari said.
Currently three companies include Atiye Dade Pardaz, Rahyab Payam Resan and Magfa are Mobile Company of Iran contractors that offer sms value added services.
