Local experts` efforts needed for mobile set production technology: an ex-commerce official

  “It was planned in the current government that mobile sets would be produced with high quality in Iran,” ex-deputy in Tehrans branch of the commerce ministry Mohammad Faghihi told Mobna news agency.
“Government has announced that sizable loans with low interest rates would be given to those who want to invest in mobile set production, so mobile set factories could be launched,” he added.
“But we do not have mobile phone production technology in our country. No country provided mobile set production technology to Iran and if a company wanted to invest in this field there was no technology to rely on,” he added.
“We hope that with the help of our youths we would be able to manufacture them locally without need to other countries,” Faghihi said.
“The only way to abolish mobile sets smuggling is to omit imported mobile sets tariffs by government,” he concluded.
