First operator license handed over officially: telecommunication ministry

Radio Communication and Regulation Organization is telecommunication ministrys regulatory body which sets the standards.
Both the Telecommunication Company of Iran and Mobile Company of Iran, the countrys first nationwide mobile operator, are state owned.
TCIs head of board of managers Vafa Ghafarian hoped that with the handing over this license the telecommunication sector privatization would go forward rapidly.
