Walk-in sale of 0910 sim cards to start as of 13 July: company

“Simultaneous with internet selling of 0910 sim cards which has started as of 4 June, walk-in sale of these sim cards will start as of 13 July,” Mobile Company of Iran announced.
The announcement of these postpaid new sim cards will be sold with by taking into consideration network capacity and technological equipments in each province separately, and when they are sold.

The 0910 sim cards selling has started in all provinces as of 5 July. So far 120,000 applicants have registered via internet.
Analysts believe that similarity of these 0910 sim cards with prepaid 0919 sim cards has caused people not to welcome them as warmly as expected.
Currently Mobile Company of Iran has 27 million subscribers.
The new sim cards which are sold at 1.5 million rials (160 dollars) lack roaming services. They are also prepaid ones which can be charged 200,000 rials (around 20 dollars) at initial start but can be charged later up to 500,000 rials (around 50 dollars). The 0910 cards require a further 2 million rials (around 210 dollars) credit if the user wishes to establish international roaming link.
