Persian font sms sender software was offered with 15 days delay: report

According to Mobna news agency, Mobile Company of Iran has uploaded Persian font sms sender software on its website.
This software is compatible with different mobile sets and enables users to send Persian font sms with 200 characters in one sms.
The plus point about this software is that without using this software Persian font sms can not exceed more than 70 characters, but with this software the sms can go up to 200 characters.
Though this software offers Persian font aimed at saving customers money, but according to those who used it, the software has many shortcomings that compromise its advantages.
Downloading the software takes 15 to 30 minutes and since most of the users have not high speed internet, access to the software is almost impossible.
Inaccessibility to contacts list in users sets is another shortcoming in using this software, it limits using non Persian font contact numbers in the mobile set when sending Persian font sms.
Another problem with this software is that after downloading, users mobile sets do not ring when they receive sms. Also after sending Persian font sms they do not receive delivery report.
However one of its advantages is that the software could be transferred via Bluetooth from one mobile set to another.  
Iranian government increased non Persian font sms fee from 142 rials (15 cents) to 222 rials (23 cents) and decreased Persian font sms fee from 142 rials (15 cents) to 89 rials (9 cents) in January – February 2008.
This decree was implemented on 21 June and is aimed to support Persian language.
