Foreign consultant for third nation wide mobile operator to be named by 21 July: official

“The Request for Proposal (RFP) to chose foreign consultant for the nation wide mobile phone operator , was finalized last week  after being studied by Iran Telecommunication Research Center and was given to the third nation wide mobile operators project manager, ” Saeed Mahdiyoun told Mobna news agency.
“According RFP, marketing and attracting investors to participate in this tender, and also cooperation in quality evaluation of participants are to be the main duties of advisor,” he added.
Also it was decided that the foreign consultant must have an Iranian partner.
“So far four companies from Arab, Europe and Russia countries have announced their readiness to the consultant to the third mobile phone operator,” Mahdiyoun said.
There is two weeks time for applicants for the consultant to offer their programs and proposals to the operators project manager, and in a week time the consultant will be chosen.
The chosen consultant will sign a contract with Iran Telecommunication Research Center and as soon as tender documents are out the consultant will start its work.
