• The director of the state-owned Mobile Company of Iran (MCI) said that as of July 5 would be subscriber can purchase the post paid sim card of 0910 each costing 1.5 million rials (160 dollars) in person, adding that one million of this kind of sim cards that do not have roaming is to be sold.

• According to Mobna mobile phone subscribers do not need to deposit any money prior to their trip if their calls abroad are going to be under 200 dollars.
• Iranian government decree states that in order to preserve the Persian language and calligraphy from June 21 each sent sms in Persian fonts will cost subscriber 89 rials (fraction of a US cent) and each sent sms using non Persian fonts will cost subscriber 222 rials (around 2 US cents).
