Iranian mobile phone buyers seek Bluetooth technology

The report says that most retailers believe that a majority of mobile handset buyers ask for handsets which are equipped with Bluetooth technology.
Bluetooth technology establishes links to transmit files such as picture, MP3, to other mobile sets and computers.
The reception range of Bluetooth varies from 1 to 100 meters (3.2 to 328 feet).
Out of 40 million active mobile phone subscribers, around 12 million of them use sets equipped with Bluetooth technology but only 10 million ever use the technology.
Handsets equipped with Bluetooth technology first hit the Iranian market in 2003 and was welcomed by overwhelming purchases.
