۳rd Operator tender announcement in 3 weeks

Kamaal Mohamed-Pour, in conversation with MOBNA, said recommendations by International Communication Union (ITU) on 3rd Operator tender documents have been forwarded to Radio Communication & Regulations Organization (RCRO) for final ratification and formalization.
At this stage, he said, the documents will be submitted to the administrator for public announcement.
ICT’s Research & International Affairs deputy said the documents will be studied by RCRO next week hoping the tender announcement will be made in the next three weeks.
The 3rd Operator’s share of the market is at least 15m subscribers.
On the eve of the tender, major operators from Europe and Asia have directly or otherwise expressed their tendency to take part in the tender.
The Russian operator Megafon and others from China, UK, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates are among them.
