Mobile Phone Importers Committee formed

Committee to oversee its market.
Afshar Froutan-Larijani, in conversation with MOBNA, said in line with article 131 of Labor’s Act his union has established the Mobile Phone Importers Committee to safeguard the rights of mobile phone importers.
He said the committee’s aim is to tackle illegal import of mobile phones and set the tariff on that popular item.
A similar supervisionary committee had been previously formed by an authorized importer.
Abdol-Rahmaan Moasher, the importer in question, had said that the decision to form the committee was made after a meeting with the President.
He had said that that committee’s task was to establish import quotas and tariffs.
