Same-day 2,880,000-Rial SIM card delivery – announces MCT chief

He added that the 1,500,000-Rial SIM card has code 0910 of which 1,200,000 Rial goes towards linkage and subscription and 2,000,000 Rial towards tax.
He stressed, however, that the SIM card is not supported by the roaming protocol and subscribers wishing to have the service should pay an extra 2,000,000 Rial at a telecom service bureau.
He indicated that the tariff is the same as other SIM cards with a 2,000,000-Rial call limit beyond which the linkage will become one-way.
He said the SIM card will be delivered within 45 days and there is capacity for 11m subscribers.
