We’re capable to appear on world ICT market

there is now a favorable telecommunications market on which Iran’s present public and private sectors’ capabilities could be on display.
MTC PR department quotes Kammal Mohaamed-Pour as saying that the duty of MTC Ministry is to explore the existing world ICT market, and create opportunities to hold discussions and correspondence with other countries.
He said it was to that end that missions have been sent abroad last year.
He indicated, however, that they were not successful because of difficulties existing in some organizations in sending expert missions and hoped to make up for it this year.
He stressed that despite 3 sanctions against Iran, foreign operators are enthusiastic to take part in Iran’s telecommunications market.
As a result, and in view of Iran Telecom privatization and the incoming 3rd Operator tender, efforts have been made to appear on various world sessions to publicize Iran’s requirements from such operators.
On the Ministry’s other plans this year regarding international activities, he said there will be a three-day session by APT groups from 40 Asian and African countries in Iran.
Also on the agenda is an IST symposium held next August by Iran Telecom Research Center.
