Datak to launch Wimax in Tehran in next 4 months

“All areas of Tehran will be covered by Datak’s Wimax service by the end of this year (Iranian),” he said.
“A contract worth $50m has been signed between Datak and Samsung Electronics in three phases,” Babak Arshad said on Sep 14 when signing the contract.
“Last month the company launched its pilot Wimax service in some areas of Tehran,” he said.
“Datak Wimax service speeds vary from 128 Kb/s to 4 Mb/s, and home users can have internet broadband over 128 Kb,” he added.
“The service prices range from 200,000 rials to 10 million rials,” he said.
