Chinese-made mobiles no longer welcomed on Iranian market

Recent distribution of well-known mobile brands with average prices in the range 500,000-1,500,000 rials has driven customers away from Chinese-made mobiles.
Mobile vendors believe the poor quality of Chinese mobiles and their lack of after-sale services has been the cause of recession in Chinese-made mobile market.
“Chinese mobile sets, when first released on the market attracted customers’ attentions but later when their poor quality was experienced by the consumer the demand for them decreased dramatically,” Mohammad Rahimi, a mobile set vendor said.
“Such mobiles get all sorts of software and hardware problems after awhile,” he added.
