LCD; most popular TV set

“Now is the best time to buy an LCD TV set because their price has fallen significantly,” Ebrahim Dorosti told Iran’s mobile news agency (Mobna).
“In a short time, we shall be witnessing the replacement of most existing CRT and flat TV sets by LCDs,” he added.
He said that Samsung, LG, Panasonic and Sony brands were currently the most popular TV sets on the market.
The market, however, has its own share of smuggled LCD sets, where they attract 20 percent of prospective buyers.
