Website-hosting should be transferred to inside country: ICT Minister

“Creating and developing secure cyberspace policy should be adapted otherwise there will be no progress,” he said.
“Domestic web-hosting does not mean cutting connection with abroad. Establishing high-security datacenter is one of country development indices,” Reza Taghipour said.
“Founding national datacenters is among country’s most important priorities and necessities and technical capabilities already exist in the country,” he added.
“In order to move towards e-Government, such services should be in accordance with public needs,” he said during Electronic Government Infrastructures Seminar opening ceremony held Nov 16-17.
