MCI value-added service contractors not permitted to send mass MMS

“Sending mass MMS (multimedia messages) has not been established in MCI network and content provider operators may not attract customer on that basis,” Amir Jalilvand told Mobna news agency.
“A tender will be re-held by MCI to select content provider contractors. It is probable that by re-selecting VAS contractors, MMS service will be assumed among contractors’ affordable services,” he said.
Three companies of Atiyeh Dadeh Pardaz, Magfa and Rahyab are MCI content providers. Their contracts have expired and new contractors will be selected by next month.
MCI is to hold tender in two separate parts of sending mass sms and value-added services.
