TCI block share trade reviewed by Parliament committee

“At the meeting, the report by the Economic Affairs Ministry was reviewed and the committee presented its own report on the issue,” Ali-Asghar Yousefnejad told Mobna news agency.
“Next week, the TCI block share transaction issue will be finalized and announced to Parliament by the Article 44 committee,” he said.
“The doubts on TCI block share transaction procedure will be resolved soon,” the MP added.
TCI’s 50% plus one shares were sold at a tender to Tose’eh Etemad Mobin Consortium on Sep 27 in order to implement the new privatization law.
However, some government and private companies have since raised doubt on the transaction.
The trade was worth 8 trillion rials, of which 20% has to be paid to the government by Nov 8.
