Nokia SMS service to check mobile set serial number

Iran Nokia has launched the service as its long term goal in enhancing customer satisfaction, the company announced.
“Following launch of Nokia after-sale service centers in Iran, the new sms service is another step towards attracting Iranian customers,” Nokia chief manager in Iran, Ali-Reza Shafipour said.
Automatic sms service along with other services such as countrywide warrantees, increasing after-sale service centers, launching Persian language telephone inquiry centers, setting up kiosks at shopping centers to check mobile serial numbers and launching Persian language website is among new Nokia strategies.
Nokia mobile users who are MCI or IranCell subscribers can send their mobile set serial numbers to 200023013 and after two minutes receive an sms message showing their mobile set warrantee expiry date.
