TIC last year audit report reviewed at general meeting

The meeting last week, attended by ICT Minister, Infrastructure Company directors, Economic Affairs Ministry representatives and President’s programming deputy, was the company’s first general meeting after adopting its new organization chart and its new board of directors.
At the meeting, the operation report, omission of contraventions, increasing recoveries and performing instructions and regulations were evaluated as positive by the auditor.
Based on a Cabinet approval in March 2006, the company was removed from the Telecommunication Company of Iran and joined the ICT Ministry.
The company’s new organization chart was decreed in Dec 2008 and the company now acts under Communication Infrastructure Organization.
Following company’s change of status to organization, its general meetings are in future headed by the ICT Minister.
