Tamin Telecom wins Third Operator project

The company handed over third mobile phone operator executive warrantee documents to Radio Communication and Regulations Organization last week and, on the basis of agreement with ICT ministry, it was selected as Third Operator.
The contract license value is 300 million euros and according to agreements the operator is due to start executive activity soon.
Ertebatat Tamin Shams Novin (Tamin Telecom) was established with investment by Shams Tamin and a company under Social Security Organization.
Tamin Telecom had formed a consortium with Emirates operator Etisalat to participate in the Third Operator tender but was later dismissed from the project for failure to fulfill its obligations as a foreign partner.  
Zabihollah Feizabadi is Tamin Telecom’s managing director who has replaced Jahangir Aghazadeh.
