TCI to make initial payment to Irancell towards interconnection

“An initial payment has been determined based on agreement between TCI and MTN-IranCell,” Vafa Ghaffarian told Mobna news agency.
“According to negotiations, it is planned that TCI would make an initial payment to IranCell based on last year interconnection fee. The amount will be determined after receiving and controlling Second Operator documents,” he said.
“TCI has paid a sum to IranCell towards their interconnection two years ago,” he added.
“Currently, for each call from TCI to IranCell, 625 rials is paid out of with 334 rials is IranCell share and 291 rials is TCI share,” he said.
Meanwhile, TCI shareholders believe that with four trillion rials payment by TCI to IranCell and receiving 1.5 trillion rials from the operator, they have been faced with 2.5 trillion rials loss from the interconnection.
