۲۲ MCI BTS antennas were installed in Fars province

BTS (base transceiver station) antennas are Base Transceiver Station (BTS) is the equipment which facilitates the wireless communication between user equipments (UE) and the network. UEs are devices like mobile phones (handsets), WLL phones, computers with wireless internet connectivity, WiFi and WiMAX gadgets etc.
Currently 2,270,000 Mobile Company of Iran mobile phones numbers are active in this province. Regarding Fars population mobile phone penetration rate is 52 percent which is higher than Iran average penetration rate.
By installing these sites currently 1097 BTS antennas have covered 1097 kilometers of Fars province roads.
