Landline sms sender sets to be tested

“Initial tests of these sets will be done with the aim of adjusting then with protocol standards Iranian landline sms network,” the company sms project manager Farshid Marbouti told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
“Currently several domestic companies are importing landline sets able to send sms and some companies are producing these kind of sets,” he added.
“When landline sms service is publicly announced more companies and manufacturers will participate in this project surely,” he continued.  
“Current landline sets in market only support non-Persian fonts. But following negotiations with some manufacturers, it is planned that Persian language font to be added in these sets,” Marbouti said.
Pilot landline sms service which has been offered in some provinces by Peik Asa company enables landline subscribers to send text short messages via landline sets.
