Telecommunication systems abusers` punishment determined by parliament

According to cyber crime bill approval by parliaments law and judicial commission it was determined that those who abuse telecommunication and cyber systems by producing, sending and distributing immoral contents will be punished for two years jail or cash punishment up to 40 million rials (400,000 dollars) or both of them.
In this bill which for the first time the cyber and digital crimes and their punishments were determined every one who intentionally and without legal permission breaches data security systems and accesses cyber or telecommunication systems will be punished between five million rials to 50 million rials cash payment.
Lack of needed general law to legally confront with cyber criminals and cyber activities development are among the reasons to set such a law.
