Iran leads mobile sets smuggling in Middle East region: a market insider

“Since there is not any direct supervision from the relevant organizations on mobile phone market, the market is under smugglers control,” MobilePlus company sale manager Mehrdad Kiani told Mobna news agency.
“Some illegal tasks is that they misuse namesake for some fake brands such as Nokla and Nokila that are generally Chinese made and offer them as Finnish Nokia brands,” he added.
“Since users have no knowledge while buying mobile sets, then some vendors misuse lack of knowledge among people and offer Chinese mobile sets instead of original ones,” he said. 
“The problems of mobile phone market are due to the lack of proper law for this market. Currently violations in mobile phone field in the United Arab Emirates countries and other countries are very low compared to Iran,” Kiani added.
“Currently most mobile sets in market are being sold without warranty and the ultimate losers are the consumers,” he said.
