MCI’s 160-dollar sim cards not welcomed by public

Official figures show that more than 100,000 such sim cards were introduced on the market but retailers believe their sale has been relatively low.
Prospective buyers had been led to believe that the 0910 sim card was similar to a postpaid sim card but it turned out that it was more like a prepaid, causing buyers to think twice before purchasing.
The card carries a 200,000-rial (around 20 dollars) credit extendable in steps to a maximum 500,000 rials (around 50 dollars); a further two million-rial (210 dollars) credit is required if the owner wishes to link to international roaming.
