Operators should be ready to offer mms service: telecommunication regulatory body

Mms is a standard for telephony messaging systems that allows sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text) and not just text as in Short Message Service (sms).
“Currently first and second operators should prepare facilities and announce their readiness to offer mms service,” Radio Communication and Regulation Organization head Mahmood Khosravi said.
“Mms regulation is approved by authorities. When the tests finish successfully, operators will be allowed to offer MMS service,” he added.
