Wrong policies obstacle in mobile phone production investment in Iran: market analyst

“Foreign investors are more interested in exporting mobile sets to Iran than investing in mobile set production,” an economic expert Mohammad Gholi Yousefi told Mobna news agency
“We do not have mobile phone production technology in our country so it is illogical for the officials to think about the set production domestically,” he added.
“Mobile sets import tariffs have not been stabilized yet because we do not have a long term policy about it,” he said.
“In European and Persian Gulf countries import tariffs for mobile sets has not been changed in recent years, which shows their proper and perfect planning,” Yousefi said.
