Telecom privatization model devised from 5 countries: telecommunication official

“United States, Britain, Malaysia, Turkey and Bulgaria were countries whose privatization processes were studied.” Abd-e Kheze Kamrani told Mobna news agency.
“Licenses, periods, and type of privatization and the process of doing so were among the items reviewed.” he added.
“Meetings have been held since July 9, 2006 in all telecommunication ministry departments to promote smooth implementation of item 3 of article 44 of the Constitution,” he said referring to the article in the Islamic republic constitution which the news privatization law was drawn upon.
