Col Mehdi Ahmadi, in conversation with MOBNA, said the 110-Police would thoroughly investigate cases of landline and mobile phone abuse.
He suggested that the public should trust the police, adding that in cases of telephone harassment the individual should dial 110 and give full details of his/her identity.
He stressed that the police, in accordance with the public security plan, are determined to confront public concern about mobile phone abuse.
Recently, the police by sending SMS texts to mobile phone subscribers had announced launch of “Country-wide crime prevention plans”.
