۳rd Operator tender due mid-summer

Vafa Ghaffarian, in conversation with MOBNA, said compilation of the tender documents is under review by the administrator, and the invitation for tender will be issued around mid-summer.
He said selection of the tender winner and seeing the project launched is among his Ministry’s high priorities.
Earlier, the project administrator had announced that the Radio Communication & Regulations Organization (RCRO) has approved the Operator’s license in its entirety, and some sections of the document were being prepared by Iran Telecom Research Center.
According to Saeed Mahdiun, the 3rd Operator will be selected by mid-year, and the project will start operation 9 months after that.
It was earlier planned that the winner would be selected next June and its operator starting the project in November.
