MTT’s readiness to manufacture 3rd Operator network equipments

Gholamreza Behrouzi, in conversation with MOBNA, said they intend to export the first batch of domestic produced mobile phone equipments this year.
He indicated that preliminary talks have been held with some countries and claimed they have achieved the necessary know-how.
He revealed domestic operators’ willingness to cooperate with the country’s manufacturers such as his company, and claimed this would halt the brain drain trend.
He referred to the domestic companies formed into a consortium for the manufacture of equipments needed for 6m mobile phone lines, and said the country’s development of mobile phone technology without the help from the country’s indigenous scientists will be doomed.
Currently, countries such as the USA, Sweden, Finland, France, Germany and China are the leading manufacturers of mobile phone equipments in the world.
