Domestic-assembled Hyundai mobile sets exported to Persian Gulf states

“The company has problem with tariff and customs but has produced Hyundai mobile sets on Kish Free Zone Island,” Hamid-Reza Monji told Mobna news agency.
“Domestic manufacturers producing mobile sets and importing spare parts have to pay customs while on Kish Island but to produce and export mobile sets we are exempt from customs duties,” he added.
“Emad Semiconductors plans to produce 25,000 Hyundai mobile sets for export but it continues manufacturing despite current limitations,” he said.
Emad Semiconductor is one of the companies which has contract with the Industries and Mines Ministry to produce mobile set domestically.
