MCI new value added services to be tested

“Sharif University of Technology value added lab as a consultant guide MCI in offering new services,” Jafar Mohammadi told Irans mobile news agency (MOBNA).
“Mobile phone value added services will be tested, developed and surveyed in three levels sim card, mobile set and network in this lab. Use of digital certificate to program access to mobile set is among this lab studies,” he said.
“Smart cards test tools such as sim cards and bank cards also Java, Symbian, Windows and Linux Mobile development and test tools are evaluated and tested in this lab,” he added.
Also tools to offer other based services, needed tools to offer sms and MMS, wap gateway, charges calculation systems and necessary tools to offer telecommunication network equipments place management based systems are used in this lab.
This lab which has been launched by MCI support in Sharif university of Technology, so far ahs offered sms services, Amin sim card, mobile payment and MCI Timcheh. Most of these services have been launched as pilot services and will be offered soon.
