Negotiation to produce common mobile set with well-known foreign brand: ITMC official

“Currently producers are negotiating with world five well-known brands. If one of them is selected then we will manufacture mobile set in Iran as a joint venture,” Ebrahim Mottale told Irans mobile news agency (MOBNA).
“If negotiations results finalize the foreign brands names will be announced,” he said.
“Decreasing people money and inflation are among reasons that have led to recession in market,” he said.
ITMC is one of three companies which had contract with industries ministry to produce mobile set in Iran. They were committed to produce six million mobile sets in market. But so far they could only release 200,000 mobile sets in market.
