TCI privatization practice under Parliament scrutiny

“The whole method of TCI privatization and its effects will be on committee’s tomorrow agenda,” Ali Motahhari told Mobna news agency.
“The minister will, in turn, explain his ministry’s plans and goals visa-vie sale of TCI block shares,” he added.
He said that according to law the current minister has to answer questions posed to previous minister and he will tomorrow address those questions as well.
“The questions will definitely include the current plight of PAP companies,” he said.
On Sep 27, 50+1 percent of TCI shares were sold on bourse to Etemad Mobin Consortium as the largest trading in bourse’s history and the new ownership is set to bring about new changes in TCI goals and policies.
