Syria seeks Iranian third operator tender experience

“Efforts have been made from the beginning of the second half of this year for our third operator to gain license to operate,” Syrian telecommunications minister Emad Sabouni said in a meeting with Mohammad Soleimani.
He said the operation would start in the first quarter of next year and hoped they would benefit from the Iranian experience in that respect.
He invited Iranian companies to take part in the tender.
His Iranian counterpart Mohammad Soleimani, for his part, welcomed such cooperation.
