Mobile operators must adhere to license

“Mobile operators should adhere to all items of their license otherwise they will be prosecuted,” Parliament telecom committee spokesman, Ali Motahhari, announced.
He was referring to IranCell managing director claims that they could issue any number of sim cards they saw fit.
Moatahhari had earlier said that all mobile operators had to announce their number of subscribers so that Radio Communication and Regulations Organization could conduct properly its supervisory role.
Except for First Operator (Mobile Company of Iran), no operator has yet to declare such a figure if only for public knowledge.
